Call it Common Ground Power, whatever. But here's the idea. It's something all of us can participate in, discuss, and perhaps use it as a template for future stuff.
I'd like to suggest that we focus on the Coop. The next time you're there, look around and see what "could" be done to make the Coop more energy efficient and ultimately energy independent. I've picked the Coop because it's a place most of us go, rather than Joe Bob's house out in the country.
This will allow us to draw up a REAL draft plan based on need and facts. Of course, we have no right or power to implement it, but I think it would make a good case study. As a goal, I'd like to shoot for reducing their energy consumption by 25%. If it can be done at the Coop, then it could be implemented at other businesses. The ideas from this could also be used at home.
