Albert Camus raised what he claimed was the "ultimate philosophical question". First one has to answer the question of suicide. Is life worth living? Sort of what Macbeth was mumbling to himself about being or not.
I hope to Holy Bejangles that, when I am at a point in life when I decide it no longer is worth living, I will have this option as a most humane way to be treated at such a personal stage of your life. It's one of the utmost personal liberties we should be allowed to have in a free society.
Come on now, we assume this "pious attitude" over animals and say, when we are "putting them down", that it is,"the humane thing to do", so why, then does this not apply to ourselves? It's insane not to support this very important piece of legislation.---JD1
