Canada Geese by the thousands can be seen on the Connecticut River above Vernon Dam. Scattered among them you will find Mallard Ducks, Black Ducks, Hooded Mergansers, Common Mergansers, Northern Pintail, Common Goldeneye, Bufflehead and if your lucky, a Bald Eagle flying overhead. Believe it or not, Spring is on the way.
