Brattleboro, VT — School for International Training (SIT) students, faculty and staff are gearing up for Race for a Reason, a walk/run organized to raise funds and awareness for a cause that has personal significance to a member of the SIT and World Learning community.  Each year an organization is chosen that has a connection to SIT and benefits the greater community. All proceeds generated from this year’s 5k/10k ‘race’ will go to the Spina Bifida Program at Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth.

Registration Fee: $15 if registration form is received by April 23rd and $20 after.  Registration begins at 8:00 am on the day of the race.

Course Description: The course starts at the School for International Training (SIT) and continues on rolling country dirt roads, passing beautiful farmhouses with incredible views of the surrounding valley and finishes on the SIT campus grounds. Directions and course path on website.

The race will be May 8, 2004 at the SIT campus.  If you are interested in learning more about the race and how you may participate or donate, please visit our website at http://public.sit.edu/r4r.html
