"Local group protests changes at Reformer

BRATTLEBORO-A group protesting changes at the Brattleboro Reformer has written a letter with 330 signatures calling for reinstatement of the paper's former managing editor.
The former managing editor, Kathryn Casa, was dismissed about two weeks ago. The Reformer, which is owned by Denver-based News Media Group, made no public statement about the reason for the move. Several other editors and reporters left the paper in the last year.
"It feels like a cumulative effect. Suddenly, we look at out (sic) local newspaper and we have a new publisher, a new editor and a new night editor," said local activist Ellen Kaye in an interview..."
