This is a call for help. The Brattleboro Finance Committee is searching for residents from Putney, Dummerston, Guilford and Vernon, who are interested in working with us for the duration of the BUHS budget process this fall.
Each year, members of the finance committee go over the presented BUHS budget, attend budget meetings, ask questions of the board, and make recommendations at the Annual Meeting in February. In keeping with our reputation for doing things “a bit differently”, while looking to make positive changes for the taxpayers of the district, we are asking for representation from the other district towns.
