TIME FOR THE WALK, RUN AND ROLL 5K
It is time for the Walk, Run & Roll 5K race to benefit the Brattleboro Walk-In Clinic (BWIC). On Saturday, September 25th, the ninth annual 5K race and 5K walk will benefit the free clinic, located at 81 Belmont Avenue. Registration begins at 8 a.m. on the clinic porch.
Robin Zegge, a well known area entertainer will be on hand with Hal Lier to announce event times and prizes.
Event times are: 8:00 registration, 8:30 a.m. one mile youth fun run; 8:45 a.m., 5K run event; 9 a.m. 5K walk event. The first 100 adults to register receive a free T-shirt. As is the past years, the T-shirt features all new colors and a new variation on its race logo – “the runner”.
All youth, age 12 and under will be given a ribbon for their participation in the fun run.
Entrants may register on the day of the race or pick up a registration entry form at Brooks Pharmacy, Canal St., Brattleboro.

Runners and walkers will be treated a great variety of prizes from Brattleboro’s best known restaurants, shops and retail outlets which are awarded to finishers in several categories. Everyone is treated to a loaf of bread from Vermont Bread, rental coupon from First Run Video, bottled water from Leader Beverage, bagels from Bruegger’s Bagel Bakery, and apples from Cortland Hill Orchard.
A non-refundable entry fee of $15 for adults and $2 for youth under 12. “Walk, Run and Roll” is sanctioned by the New England Association of the U.S.A.,T.F. All proceeds go to support the Brattleboro Walk-In Clinic. For more information, please call 802-257-6536.
