How To Keep Going

We recently got an e-mail from a distant reader asking if iBrattleboro could do some brainstorming on a specific question. While we usually don't do this sort of thing, it was an interesting an polite request, and the question is a good one. Put on your thinking caps...

"So here is the question: in an era like this one, what do ordinary people do to keep going? Before, everyone came here to the US for a better life. But now, what do we do? It's not that I'm saying there is no way, it's just that I'm looking for a practical way for people to stay in the middle class by working as they always have. And if there is no way to do that, what is the next step?

All ideas are welcome and if you want, you can post my question on iBrattleboro for general community consideration. Maybe the people of your community would have ideas that would help (people). You could add something about "How do small businesses succeed?"

So there you go, Brattleboro. What do you think?
