This Sunday at the Weathervane I will be performing on piano, electronics, and shakuhachi, all accompanied by Lara Schneider's beautiful live interactive video (our first collaboration in this area). This is very different from my usual shakuhachi gigs -- rather than traditional Japanese music, I will be freely improvising in some very untraditional ways. Some of it could be called free jazz, some of it could be called noise.
The show starts at 9 PM. No charge. Hope to see some of you there!
