I’m hoping the kind people of Brattleboro can help me. I just moved here from New Jersey. We couldn’t afford a moving van so we put everything in Uncle Jed’s truck.
It wasn’t much, mostly clothes, some organic tomatoes we bought at the Mobil station, and the Grand piano. I always wanted to live in Vermont and was hoping to make a living with the piano. You see, I paint houses. And three guys can stand on a piano better than a scaffold--as long as you don’t polish the top.
But it’s winter. And that’s my problem. Are there any jobs in town where I can use my piano. Serious responses, only.
