Brattleboro Town Meeting Members will be available to meet with constituents prior to Saturday's town meeting. Town Meeting Members will gather at Academy School on Thursday, March 17.
Districts will caucus at 6:30PM to offer residents and representatives an opportunity to meet and discuss articles to be voted on at the annual meeting on March 19.
Also, all three districts will appoint new members to fill several vacancies. District 1 has one vacancy, District 2 has 6 vacancies and District 3 has 4 vacancies. Appointments are for one year. Anyone interested in being considered for these positions should be present at Thursday's 6:30PM caucus. Room locations at Academy School for each caucus will be posted in the school lobby.
The schedule for pre-town meeting information sessions is as follows:
Wed., March 16, town school info - 7 pm, Academy School
Thurs., March 17 6:30 - 7:00pm, Academy School - members of each district will caucus to appoint members to fill vacant town meeting member positions and meet with constituents.
