I'm looking at a situation where a lot of wood needs to be hauled and steep, long trails navigated on my land...the advice I've been getting is that I have to have an ATV, but I'm hesitant to support that industry and bring an ATV on my land.
I'm wondering if anyone has any alternative ideas? Or should I not worry so much about using an ATV if it will be limited personal utility use on my property, not digging up public trails? Anyone know of a diesel (therefore convertable to biodesiel) ATV? A ATV dealer who might be sensative to these issues? A kind of ATV that might be 'better' environmentally/utilitywise then others?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
