Day 3—we’ve spent the last two days swapping stories, who did what, and surprised to see so-and-so here. The party is starting to wane, like relatives camping out for a week.

Day 10—and I’ve had a chance to chat with the King. He’s told me how great I am, and all that. The same stuff he’s told me all last week. Now what do I do?

Day 21—there’s quite a stir. Some bloke said something that was misunderstood by the others. No one knows how to take it. It could've been JD1 blaming Lancer. And then JD(L) got involved. So we smile, and tip our heads. Mystery of mystery, I guess it’s still around.

Day 71—no booze and no smokes. So we’re still standing around. I’m getting really tired of hearing the old songs go ‘round and round. Every once in awhile someone frowns. Is that allowed?

Day 101—a fight starts between two clowns who didn’t settle things before coming through the gate. They told Peter they were covered with the blood, and all that. But I guess habits are hard to break.

Day 500—two Presbyterians are planning a jail break. An Episcopalian is doing science in the basement. The choir has been shutdown (thanks to gfv.) Steve McQueen is riding his stupid motorcycle up and down, leaving oil streaks on the gold streets. Anna Nicole is propped up at the city fountain, some of the saints are taking a peek.

Day 782—War has broken out. Gabriel showed up with a white sword and told us all those beatitudes (or beatle tunes) on forgiveness, charity, love, and turning the other cheek were to be used here, as well. A few agree--but many have forgotten what they were.

Day 2005—we’re still here.
