Surely this is a topic that has come up before, but the search doesn't find it, so I'll throw it out there . . .
I need to get work done on my car and need a good mechanic. In Brattleboro, so I can have it done while I work (that rules out West Hill Auto in Putney and Richmond Auto in Guilford, both of which I've been pleased with).
I've gone to Brattleboro Tire before but I've heard one too many stories about them doing extra work that wasn't needed. I don't know enough to judge the truth of this, but the word does seem to be out.
