I'm moving from Ohio to Brattleboro in early June, and I'm ever so excited...except that for reasons both monetary and social I'd like to have a room mate or three.
The Roommates.com kind of sites seem skeezy and I don't know if I can afford a Reformer classified, but I don't want to be sleeping on a friend's floor forever.
So, any advice for finding room mates? I was thinking of asking said friend to post a flyer in the Co-op, but I've never been to Brattleboro, so I don't know how well that would work.
