Yes, it is time for another iBrattleboro night out - but more on that after these commercial messages.
Lise and I would like to introduce you to a new feature on the site, one we hope that will lead to other improvements and new features.
Near the bottom of the page you will see a new box to "Feed the Kitty". It's for making donations to help pay for the costs of operating and improving the site. This includes things like the time we put in to keep things running smoothly, as well as bandwidth and server charges.
And feeding the actual kitty, Snootch.
We also have a few special projects we'd like to do - upgrade to a newer, faster server and install a newer version of the software. We still want to get you weather and classifieds, too.
Can you help out? Any amount is appreciated, anyt time of year, and the PayPal form is very capable of handling large numbers if you like using them. If PayPal isn't your cup of proverbial tea, you can slip us cash and checks when we see you around town, or make other arrangements.
To celebrate getting the donation form working, we've added a new line of products at the CafePress store that feature the "i" in the circle from the iBrattleboro logo. There are some new products, too, like a shirt for dogs and this spiffy wall clock.
Cool, eh? Well, maybe not, but you can see them all at the iBrattleboro store. Don't get too excited - we make barely anything from this. It's more of a way to get the logo on things for people who like it, like us. Plus, we'd love to run into a baby in an iBrattleboro jumper.
We have also added a small tidbit to the site that astute readers will notice as time goes on. You can look for it.
Finally, what you've been waiting for. The stars have aligned, we've been poked and prodded long enough and we are announcing another iBrattleboro Night Out. Come say hello, have a beverage, eat some peanuts, hang out, and all that other stuff people do at McNeil's Brewery on Elliot Street this coming Thursday night, August 4, 2005.
We'll most likely make it after 9:30pm, but you can arrive any time you like. We may have a special surprise for you, too. Actually, a couple...
Thanks, and see you there...
