It turns out that the Director position in the Telecommunications Department is vacant. The Director is the person who is supposed to be in charge of handling public access television in Vermont.
I wrote to Susan Martin, who is the only other person still in the Telecommunications Department. I asked her if the Telecommunications Department knew what was going on at BCTV, and I offered to send her newspaper articles explaining what was happening.
Her response:
"We do receive the Brattleboro newspaper. However, this seems to be an issue that BCTV should be able to mediate over without involving the Department. You are welcome to send me the articles, however we have not taken a position on the issues."
