NOTICE OF TAX SALE
TAX SALE OF REAL ESTATE
TOWN OF NEWFANE, VERMONT
The resident and nonresident owner, lien holders and mortgagees of lands in the Town of Newfane, in the County of Windham are hereby notified that the taxes assessed by such town for the years 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 remain, either in whole or in part, unpaid on the following described lands in such town, to wit:
Being all the same lands and premises conveyed to Paul B. Clifford by Warranty Deed of Susan Morse dated April 6, 1992 and recorded on April 6, 1992 in Book 70, Page 1 of the Newfane Land Records, said to contain approximately .29 acres, more or less, and being further described as parcel number 00D156.2 on the property tax maps of the town of Newfane.
And so much of such land will be sold at public auction at the Town Clerk's Office, a public place in such town, on the 17th day of November, 2005, at 1:00 o'clock p.m., as shall be requisite to discharge such taxes with costs and fees, unless previously paid.
Please also be advised that the property is encumbered by a United States of America Internal Revenue Service lien and, therefore, the United States of America will have an additional 120 days to redeem the property as set forth in 26 U.S.C. §7425(d).
