Media News' "Brattleboro Reformer" may be about to change again.
The Denver-based company plans to hire Sabina Haskell as the new editor to replace outgoing editor Kevin Moran.
Ms. Haskell is coming from the Rutland Herald where she has been Assistant Managing Editor, and had previously worked at the Bennington Banner, another paper in the Media News chain. She is expected to join the Refomer in early December.
The Reformer has seen the departure of reporters in recent months. Media News also made news earlier this year by purchasing the Vermont Observer.

Berkshire Eagle vs. Reformer: Okay, lets think about this logically. As great as anyone here might think Brattleboro is, the Eagle has a far greater circulation and is really the toast of MediaNews' operation in New England. If there was a way to move up Singleton's company line, getting the top post at the Eagle is the way to do it.
