LONGEST NIGHT, BEWARE!
Horse-drawn Solstice Hayrides offer Light and Music.
With the longest night of the year fast approaching, Fair Winds Farm is offering an unusual twist to their horse-drawn hayrides with a special Solstice ride on December 20 & 21 from 4-7 pm.
The 35 minute ride through woods and fields in a hay-filled wagon or sleigh will be punctuated by torches, candles and lanterns, dramatic readings or songs of the season. Snuggle down under warm blankets and enjoy a break from the frantic Christmas rush. The ride will end at a large bonfire where you can join in the singing or step back and sip from your bottomless cup of mulled cider.
Fair Winds Farm is located at 511 Upper Dummerston Road across from the country club, 2 miles from downtown Brattleboro. Reservations are not required for the Solstice rides. Rates are $10 for adults and $7 for kids under 12.
