Monday Evening, Jan. 16th @ 7:00pm the Brattleboro Development Review board will hold a public hearing on the application from CUMBERLAND FARMS to build what would be the largest Convenience Store/Gas Station in the Town of Brattleboro, to located in the hay field across from Fleming's Shell here in West Brattleboro.
This station would be the 22nd gas station in Brattleboro. It would contain 16 fuel pumps under an enormous steel canopy.
Gas Stations and Convenience stores are Conditional Uses in West Brattleboro and the applicant must show that the development does not negatively impact the character of the area.
