As the launch of 107.7 WVEW-LPFM approaches this spring, Brattleboro Community Radio is offering a free orientation session to better acquaint the public with its project and the process for getting involved, whether as a show host or volunteer.
The orientation will be offered on two dates: Wednesday, February 15th at 7pm and Saturday, February 25th at 1pm. Both sessions will take place in the Selectboard Meeting Room located on the second floor of the Brattleboro Municipal Building, 230 Main Street.
Orientation is the first step toward becoming a Brattleboro Community Radio (BCR) program host or DJ, and those interested will be able to sign up for upcoming trainings. Participants will also be able to submit their show ideas to the BCR programming committee. All area residents of any age or ability are welcome. Wheelchair accessible. Refreshments provided. No reservations required. For more information, call Sara at (802) 258-3881.
