Citizen One stood before the Selectboard Tuesday evening with a public appeal for all to attend the BUHS public meeting next Tuesday at 7pm.

He said that there was abysmal turnout last year, and that the school budget was $26 million dollars and important to pay attention to.

"The time has come to get people to go to this meeting," said Citizen One. "Let's fill the gym with proactive people."

The Chair added that people should get involved in the upcoming elections, too.

Citizen One agreed, adding that there might be an open seat on the School Board and that anyone interested should check with the Town Clerk for details.

The Chair agreed.

Citizen Two asked about section 11.6 of the agenda for the evening, the part dealing with Town Finances. "Would this include an explanation of what happened?" he wondered.

The Chair said yes.

Citizen Two asked if issues relating to the Town Audit would come up, or if he should ask his questions now.

The Chair said that auditing could be discussed when they get to that item on the agenda, and Citizen Two appeared satisfied with that response.
