The question was openly pondered about 2-3 years after September 11, 2001– How long after those horrific terror events can comedians etc. start telling jokes related to it, and then, to what extent can they can go without being considered crass and insensitive. The 1940 movie “The Great Dictator” with Charlie Chaplin as Hitler spoofed the Nazis. In his 1964 autobiography, Chaplin stated that he would not have been able to make such jokes about the Nazi regime had he known of the actual extent of the Nazi horrors then. Satire and poking fun at tyrants is one way to cut them down to size, and Spike Jones, Disney and others made fun of Hitler in the early 1940s. President Bush’s many speaking blunders and Cheney’s Dr. Evil demeanor and drunken shooting accident make it easy for comedians to poke fun at them and write spoofing songs. Millions of kids are hooked on playing video games with terror/violence themes and terrorist characters.
My own computer has a CD *burner* made by a company called *Nero*. I didn’t get the joke at first, but then I noticed the graphic of the Colosseum in flames and thought about the history, how Emperor Nero was a tyrant who committed the false flag terror event that killed many. Nero had Rome burned by fire and the calamity blamed on his enemies– the Christians, in order to demonize them in the eyes of others. So it seems that even a sick joke about megadeath is OK if enough time has passed, especially if no one alive can remember anyone victimized by it. The Nero CD burner is no different than if a company named itself *Hitler* and made *gas* related products. Hopefully God will end this world before the day that would be acceptable. Hitler’s National Socialists burned down their own Parliament building, the Reichstag, and that was blamed on their enemy– the Communists. It was a false flag terror event, as was Nero with Rome. 3–This guy was actually said to be the infamous Bogeyman pictured above as Candidate number ONE. Film of him was shown once briefly on the controlled news media networks and it was claimed that he took credit for 9/11. The original Bogeyman was probably dead, so they had to provide some substitute bearded al-Qaeda ‘leader’ for the consumption of the masses and to continue the ruse.
