The first Friday of every month, downtown Brattleboro, VT has Gallery Walk. Join us for a festive stroll! Over 40 venues, many with artist reception, on October 6, 2006. The streets on each first Friday in Brattleboro are alive with hundreds of art lovers from the Tri-State Region--strolling from exhibit to exhibit, enjoying music, dancing and other festivities as well.
Featured exhibit this month is Dina Masfina Bridgeo's newest hatchling, "Spunky Divine" at the Twilight Tea Lounge, 51 Main Street, Brattleboro. From well-traveled clothing, other people's lingerie, and seriously interesting trinkets, Dina made fabric designs and found object designs for you to see and take home. And she made Glam Junk jewelry for you to wear. Come, try on adornments made from silver, copper, old silk neckties, and even little wooden chickens. The funkiest earrings on the east coast will also be on sale only during this Gallery Walk event. From 5:30-9:30, meet the artist, view her art, be inspired.
