The Kopkind Colony is presenting the film Grey Gardens and associated art exhibition at the Latchis Theater this Saturday, Oct 7, {4pm-5pm art in the lobby with Pacifico Palumbo's Grey Garden oil paintings, and then the film Grey Gardens with director Muffie Meyer at 5pm.} This film and art event is a benefit to the Kopkind Colony which sponsors seminars for journalists and grassroots organizers as well as presenting free public events during the summers in Guilford.
Described variously as a Tennessee Williams-style exploration of character, an invitation to mockery or a metaphor for a society consumed by its romance of the past, Grey Gardens has roused passions for thirty years, achieving iconic status.
