ISLAND PARK BHS PROGRAM NOV. 5th -- These woodcuts (below the fold) from December 1938 in The Dial, the Brattleboro High School literary magazine at the time, show some activities and memories associated with Island Park in the early 1900’s and suggest some fantasies such as the dragon.

The Pavilion building was a popular ballroom and amusement center for Brattleboro citizens from 1911 until it was destroyed in the 1927 flood.
