The J-Lab of the University of Maryland is doing a survery of people who contribute to citizen journalism web sites like this one. They say:

"Are citizen media initiatives a fad or a sustainable part of the emerging media landscape? J-Lab is surveying the field, creating a baseline of information about who's doing what – and how they're doing it. We invite all readers of and contributors to community news web sites created by citizen journalists to participate. Can't respond? Please forward the survey to someone who can."

If you'd like to particpate, paste this URL in your browser: http://showofhands.com/jlab and follow the instructions. They send you an email to the actual survey, and it takes 10 minutes or so to complete.

iBrattleboro isn't associated with the J-Lab, though they did do a profile on us a while back.

The Ford Foundation gave them some money to do this research, and it will be shared once the survey has been completed.
