WELCOME YULE!
Horse-drawn solstice hay-rides offer candle lit woods and voices of the season.

As the longest night of the year approaches, Fair Winds Farm in Brattleboro is preparing for their annual horse-drawn celebration. The woods and streams will be lit with candles and lamps, and the sleigh (or wagon) will stop to hear a song here, a poem there, some music or a reading inspired by the season.

Rides will be offered from 5-8pm on Wednesday and Thursday, December 20 & 21 with a rain date scheduled for the 22. No reservations will be taken for these rides. Rates are $10 for adults, $7 for kids under 12.

Enjoy the half-hour ride from our hay-filled sleigh or wagon, covered with warm blankets and surrounded by friends and family. The ride will end at a bonfire with bottomless cups of hot mulled cider all around.

Fair Winds Farm is located at 511 Upper Dummerston Road in Brattleboro. They are across from the country club, just 2 miles from downtown Brattleboro. Fair Winds Farm offers hay & sleigh rides by reservation throughout the holiday season. Call for directions or more information: 802-254-9067
