This is my favorite:
The only cartoon ever nominated for a Noble Peace Prize, this 1939 Hugh Harman cartoon shows a post-apocalyptic world populated by animals picking up the pieces after a war kills every human on earth. The war theme in the cartoon seems pretty relevant today.

What's Your Favorite Holiday Cartoon?

That's an OK pick, Shaw, although a tad depressing for my tastes this time of year.
I much prefer the Charlie Brown Christmas Special or The Simpsons Christmas special, which aired way back in 1989, featured the debut of the family dog, Santa's Little Helper, and kicked off the show's regular ongoing series.

My favorite holiday cartoon is "Charlie Brown Christmas" because beats most holiday cartoons by a mile although I've seen "The Polar Express" many times and that is a good holiday toon as well.

Strictly toon speaking, it's Charlie Brown. If we get to include stop-action Rankin-Bass, though, I still love "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town." And I have to add South Park's Christmas Special as a close runner-up.
