Senator Jeanette White (D-Windham) is going to lead the Government Operations Committee for the '07-08 Legislative session.
According to the Reformer, Jeanette will be giving up her seat on the Agriculture Committee but keeping her spot on the Health & Welfare Committee.
The Government Operations Committee deals with numerous government issues such as municipal government, campaign finance, term limits, state employees and now the state hospital.
