Where Is That Snake?

Somewhere in the greater Brattleboro metropolitan district there is - I am sure - a snake (and perhaps more than one) which is seeking me as a human companion and care giver.

Not that its current friends aren't loyal and considerate. But there comes a time to move on.

Don't keep us apart!

If you have a snake which you just don't have time for anymore, a snake which has gotten a little too big, or too ornery or which is just plain giving you clear and explicit signals that it would rather live at my house than at yours, get honest! Tell me!

I'll provide a loving, affirming and temperature/humidity controlled home to almost any snake whatever. Well, on second thought you can keep your cobra. But almost any other snake will be met with open arms.

Please, please, please let me adopt your unwanted snake! It knows, it really does, that you are just keeping it out of a sense of duty. You can't hide your lying eyes! And your smile is a thin disguise! I thought by now you'd realize... that it's an injustice of cosmic proportions for you to keep us apart. Just do the right thing. Pick up the phone and make the call that could make all the difference in that snake's little life.
