Assuming the skies over Brattleboro will be clear at the time, there will be a lunar eclipse this Saturday (March 3) from about 4:30 PM to about 8:12 PM. The earth will be directly between the Sun and the Moon causing the Earth to cast its shadow on the Moon.
The main event starts at approximately 5:43 PM and the Moon should will be totally covered at 6:21 PM. The moon's colors will be either brownish, copper-like red or orange and should be be a spectacular sight for all who view it assuming again that this Saturday night will be clear and cloud-free. Try to find a nice, dark place away from street lights for best view.
