The upcoming Select Board election will have a major impact on the lives of all of us living in Brattleboro.
Rich Garant has my vote for the 3-year seat on the Select Board because I am deeply impressed by his understanding of the issues and his willingness to speak out about the problems of town management and finances. Residents are frustrated by the lack of transparency in town government and the failure of the majority of board members to respond to citizen’s concerns.
In Rich Garant we will have a select board member who listens, and pays close attention to the details of town accounting and finances and understands their impact on taxes and the quality of basic services. If elected, Rich would work with others on the board to build on Brattleboro’s strengths. He offers a vision of a more vibrant, healthier and an economically viable community.
For these reasons, I am voting for Rich Garant and I encourage you to get out Tuesday and do the same .
