People are gathering around 5:15 Saturday and any kind of theatrical and colorful presence is welcome. Welch is scheduled to be at the Riverview 6-8.
Saturday, May 5th--Impeachment Celebration

Don't worry, we will not be "crashing" Peter Welch's private birthday celebration. This is a very public event--a political fundraiser of some sort (for Windham county Democratic party?) and is $75/plate. We'll be outside nearby have a simultaneous celebration... of impeachment. The tone will be positive, welcoming, respectful and festive.
Especially if the weather is nice we'll try to have games ('pin the subpoena on Dick Cheney' anyone?), face painting, and balloons. Bring signs, bring the kids, and/or a musical instrument!
The dinner is 6-8pm, so our hope will be to have a strong showing as people arrive and leave. Know anyone who might be interested in kayaking/canoeing with some impeachment messages? All the guests will be there for the lovely view of the river!
