The Brattleboro Chamber of Commerce has announced that this year's Fourth of July parade will have the theme "Stepping Up for our Young People." Applications for the 2007 parade are available from the Chamber. The parade is on Wednesday July 4, 2007 and begins moving at 10am.

"Think of how your business or organization can honor the young people of our community, and help them build a brighter future for Greater Brattleboro, by being part of the high-stepping-est, pride-is-showing-est Fourth of July parade the throngs of spectators along Canal and Main have ever seen" says the announcement.

Celebrating youth doesn't stop there. The Chamber says it plans the parade to be the "first step in an ongoing campaign to keep our young people front and center in the community consciousness."

If you have further questions or want to be a part of the parade, contact the Brattleboro Chamber of Commerce - 254-4565.
