Please join Nuclear Free Vermont in the Brattleboro July 4th Parade!
Meet at the BUHS parking lot, Fairgrounds Rd. The parade steps off at 10 AM, goes down Canal St to Main St, and ends at the town common about an hour later.
Bring water to drink and be prepared for fun in the sun!
Since our beginning in 2002, Nuclear Free Vermont by 2012 has been a lively participant in Brattleboro's July 4th parade.
This year we intend to highlight ENVY's nuclear waste, two pounds for each Vermonter. This makes Vermont #1 in the US for high level nuclear waste per capita.
We'll be walking behind our Nuclear Free Vermont banner, each person carrying a bucket or box with "2 lbs." "Entergy Nuclear waste". And other appropriate signage.
Walkers, rollers, strollers, bikers, wheelchairs welcome.
Come on along!
