With energy prices at an all-time high and global warming threatening life-effecting changes, people are asking “What can I do?”
On Tuesday, July 10, at 7 PM, Upper Valley Rideshare’s Outreach Coordinator, Doug Shane, will present a discussion at Brattleboro’s Brooks Memorial Library which considers various aspects of these problems and offers some solutions.
Upper Valley Rideshare, the local office for Vermont RideShare, offers a free carpool matching service and other benefits to residents of some 170 towns in Windham, Windsor and Orange counties, Vermont, and New Hampshire, proximate to the Connecticut River. Come join the conversation and find out how you can lower your transportation costs while helping the environment. For more information contact the library or Doug Shane at 1-800-571-9779, x206.
