There are two forums involving two state agengies set for this week seeking public input regarding services for individuals with autism.
Both the Vermont Agency of Human services and the Dept. of Education will host these meetings in Rutland and Springfield on Oct. 3 and 4th.
From 10am to noon on Thursday, first floor conference room at the Springfield State Office Building (100 Mineral Street) and in Rutland, if anyone is reading from that area, 10 am to noon on Wednesday at the Asa Bloomer building (State Offices) on 88 Merchants row.
I know I've seen other's post here about Autism and the Autism Spectrum Disorders, so anyone who has input or questions about what these agencies may be planning now have an opportunity to be heard.
In the planning, apart from these meetings, are support groups for Vermont and if anyone is interested, just ask and I will send the links for you to explore.
I plan to attend the one in Springfield if anyone would like to join me; I have room for three passengers and would be happy to share the trip!
