Does anyone know anyone who repairs jointed teddy bears for cash or barter? My niece's beloved teddy bear is starting to fall apart.
Sometimes the dedicated and skilled old ladies at craft fairs will hold a "teddy bear hospital," but I haven't heard of any round here recently. The Vermont Teddy Bear Company is too expensive and will only repair bears they have made.
