Thought I'd share a good customer service story that happened yesterday (2/6/08).
My wife and I went to the 99 in brattleboro for lunch. Ordered our food and an appetizer. When our appetizer came I took one bite and well I have some problem swallowing food that doctors haven't been able to diagnose, luckily it's usually only a minor annoyance but not yesterday (imagine feeling like your choking but still able to breath and talk, felt like there was a golf ball at the base of my throat).
My esophagus seized up and I couldn't even swallow my drink and it wasn't letting go. We asked if we could get our appetizer boxed up and our lunch when it was ready so we could go explaining it wasn't anything wrong with them but a medical problem I was having.
The managers came over to make sure everything was all right, were very polite and concerned and because they didn't have a way to box our drinks up gave my wife a bottle of soda for hers. I was very impressed with the staff and managers and would like to thank them, they were wonderful.
On my part the condition lasted most of the night causing me to miss work but finally let go.
