As part of its continuing workshop series, "(Re)learning to Feed Ourselves," Post Oil Solutions will sponsor a Garden Mapping Workshop on Sunday, March 2, 2008, at 1:00 PM, in the community room of the Brattleboro Savings & Loan Bank, Main Street, Brattleboro.
This will be an informal gathering for gardeners who are in the process of planning the layouts of their gardens for the coming season. They will have an opportunity to sit down and talk with Putney resident, Robert King, about their plans, and to hear his ideas and suggestions.
Robert has worked with many “master gardeners” over the past 40 years. His interests include sustainable agriculture as found in Rudolf Steiner’s Bio-Dynamic scientific/organic methods, Shaker agriculture, low-tech appropriate technology (including hand tools) and understanding gardening as a year-round activity.
The workshop is free, though donations to support the work of POS are appreciated. Pre-registration is required: 802 869 2141. Light refreshments will be available.
