"Thank you Brattleboro for everything. My dad was the best of all."

This is hand lettered across the big, yellow thank you poster sent to the town by Maria Medina, widow of the late Edvin Medina who died when his truck dived off I-91 and burst into flames on Williams St., Brattleboro earlier in February.

The poster is decorated with hand prints of Edvin's three children, a photo of their dad, and drawings of things they felt represented their dad - a soccer ball and a heart with "we miss you" written inside.

Many people contributed to a care package that was personally delivered to the Medina family last weekend. Anyone interested in viewing the poster or with ideas of where the poster can be publicly displayed for the town please contact Tami Stenn 254-4044.

The Medians plan to visit Brattleboro this summer with Edvin's parents who are visiting from Guatemala. They wish to see the place where their son, father, husband died. And to further thank the town for their support.

Thanks!
