My name is John Archambault and I am still running for the 3-year candidate for the Select Board.
I cannot take back my actions from "28" years ago. I have paid my price to society and have tried to live my life helping people since that time. I did not deceive the voters of Brattleboro, no one ever asked me. Why would I want to bring up something that I am remorseful for and have to live with everyday? Remember, it took an anonymous phone call to Robert Audette to bring my past to the surface. That is all I will say about this. As for the suit with Morningside House, it was my understanding that was "off the record".
To the voters and citizens, I have not been “missing” forums so that I could hide my past; I simply had previous, engagements. You know that this town needs a different direction. I put The Voters’ Rights on the back of my flyers. You will see that if you do not like the job I am doing, you can vote me out of office! I do not promise you no more than I can do.
