Here are a few election photos taken early this afternoon at BUHS.
The weather is holding and the Town Clerk's office is reporting a good turnout. Polls open until 7pm.
If you have a candidate in the race and want to offer some last minute support, many have extra signs and would appreciate the company. (Some give you candy, too.)
Audrey and Martha, candidates for Selectboard.
Candidates and supporters with signs outside.
Issues get signs, too.
Candidate Ian adjusts his sign.
Media from near and far.
Taking pictures of voters voting.
Town Clerk's office and volunteers on hand to help.
Snacks after voting help a good cause.
Media interviewing voters. Did you vote? Who for? Did you support the indictment?
Brattleboro Police on hand to monitor media. If you want to get a press pass you have to Ask a Cop.

Greetings to Dan Barlow's Vermont View readers.
I wouldn't say there was a crush of media midday, but those who
were there seemed intrigued by the indictment resolution, though tried
to pretend they were interested in more than just that. It was more
media than most recent elections.
Some of the photographers were there to get shots to sell to other
media sources. One asked if we minded if, say, the photo he took
ended up in Newsweek or something.
About 2.5 hours 'til the polls close. We'll get the results up as soon as
we get them.
