    Scenes from Boston Red Sox Spring Training 2008

    RecreationFORT MYERS, FL- I fulfilled a lifelong dream today: I finally got to see the Boston Red Sox at spring training. It was amazing. The Red Sox trounced the Cincinnati Reds today, 16-6. Jason Varitek, Damion Moss, and Andrew Pinckney all went deep today while righthander Kyle Snyder had a good outing and picked up the win.

    Below the fold are some pictures I took at today's game. Hope you like 'em. Hey Jerry Benjamin.... eat your heart out!!! It's awesome down here!!!

    It all looks like a blast until you mention the 91 degree temp, 35 here but not roasting.

    Looks like you are having a blast enjoy yourself with your beautiful family and thanks for thinking of us poor folks up here in muddy Vermont.

    Hope we can get together this summer and watch a few games.

    Kyle Snyder didn't pitch yesterday. It was lefty Jon Lester at the mound.
    So the picture that says "Kyle Snyder" is actually "Jon Lester." I missed
    the announcement there was a pitching change yesterday. Oh well.

    No time for sight seeing this time around. Lotsa relatives to visit.

    Aside from the Red Sox we saw a lots of White Ibises, pelicans, terns,
    egrets.... and dolphins in the Caloosahatchee River. Very sweet!
