Organizing New Hampshire to Support HR 24
    Wednesday, March 26 2008 @ 12:46 PM EDT
    Contributed by: tomaidh

ActivismAre you aware that 87-year-old New Hampshire State Representative Betty Hall has been working tirelessly on Resolution HR 24 calling for the NH House of Representatives to vote to begin the process of the Impeachment of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. This bill is a petition to the US House of Representatives to commence impeachment procedures. Under Section 603 of Jefferson's Manual of Parliamentary Practice, a state legislature may bring this action. This bill was to be voted on last week.

For complicated reasons, it was pulled, but will be up for a vote in a few weeks. This gives us citizen activists another opportunity to work to ensure a positive result. But we desperately need your help! Believe it or not, you have the power to make this happen. You only need let go of your frustration and prove to yourself what an engaged citizenry can do.

Organizing New Hampshire to Support HR 24 CONFERENCE CALL

You can help. We have the chance to make history with New Hampshire becoming the first state to pass HR 24, its resolution to invoke Jefferson’s Rules to Commence Impeachment Procedures in the U.S.Congress.

The vote is April 16th. We need only 202 votes to save our constitution, restore justice and reclaim democracy.

We can make history happen for a change. Please help us, listen in, ask questions and help New Hampshire be the salvation of the nation.

What's the atmosphere like in NH? Seems like there's more of an effort
over there than in Vermont. I try to get interest going on the popular
Web site Blue Hampshire and bloggers are really disinterested in it. All
they care about is the 2008 election. Are you finding less activists in NH
or more? Is it more likely to pass the House than in Vermont (we all
    know what happened last April)?

Just curious. Seems like impeachment is not on a lot of peoples' radars
    over there.
