It'd be, without a doubt, the most visible skatepark in New England. Looked upon from the highway 91 bridge, crossing over Route 30 and the West River, the park would be closer than home plate to the Green Monster seats. And drivers on Rt. 30 will roll by it, a stone's throw away, at speeds four or five times faster than skaters dropping in.

Now that the town has acquired the property behind the Professional building, there is 10,000 square feet in the eastern corner supposedly pegged for a skatepark.
