Due to the continuing popular response to our previous two workshops on this subject held in March, Post Oil Solutions (POS) will once again sponsor a Garden Mapping workshop.
This will be held on Sunday, April 13, at 1:00 PM, in the community room of the Brattleboro Savings & Loan, Main Street, Brattleboro.
The workshop is intended as an informal gathering for gardeners who are in the process of planning the layouts of their gardens for the coming season. They will have an opportunity to talk with Putney resident, Robert King, about their plans, and to listen to his ideas and suggestions.
In addition to being the coordinator for the POS "(Re)learning to Feed Ourselves" garden workshop series, Robert has worked with many “master gardeners” over the past 40 years. His interests include sustainable agriculture as found in Rudolf Steiner’s Bio-Dynamic scientific/organic methods, Shaker agriculture, low-tech appropriate technology (including hand tools) and understanding gardening as a year-round activity.
There is no fee for this workshop, though contributions to support this and other projects of POS will be greatly appreciated. Pre-registration is required: 802 869 2141. Light refreshments will be available.
