BRYCE DANCE - "MOVING MEMORY"
H-DT&G presents Moving Memory, a compilation of dances performed by Bryce Dance and choreographed by Marlboro College alum Heather Bryce ('04). Sunny Hitt (Marlboro '05) will also present a solo that she choreographed. Inspiration for the dances in this performance comes from personal experiences and memories as well as disabilities and social justice/political issues.

Bryce Dance is a nine member contemporary dance company located in Cambridge, MA. Founded in 2006 by artistic director Heather Bryce, the company is committed to presenting edgy choreography that reflects human experience and that is rich in emotional content. Bryce Dance attempts to make dance accessible to all audiences and reach people who have not previously been exposed to dance performance, as well as appeal to established dance audiences.
Heather Bryce is originally from Weston, CT, where she began dancing with Margaret Biscegilie at the age of two. She is a two time recipient of the Emerging Artists Award through Green Street Studios in Cambridge, MA. She has had the pleasure of dancing for many talented choreographers, including Tarin Chaplin, Dana Holby, Allison Mann, Allison Mott, Kelley Donovan & Dancers, Marianne Harkless and Widmine Remy. As a performer, Heather has danced at various theaters and spaces across New England, including The Somerville Theater (MA), The Boston City Hall (as a part of PRIDE), and the Montpelier, VT Statehouse. Bryce's choreography can be described as clean, emotional, abstract, and fresh.
